At Talos Drones, we are committed to providing reliable products and transparent support. Below you will find our full warranty policy for the Talos T60X, including coverage details, component-specific warranty periods, and the process for submitting a claim. Please review each section carefully to understand what is and isn’t covered under warranty.

Warranty Coverage
  • 12-month limited warranty on most electronic components.
  • 3-month limited warranty on sprayer and spreader components.
Component Warranty Periods

Aircraft electronics and control modules are covered for 12-months excluding spraying and spreading systems.
Spraying and spreading system parts have 3-month warranties.

Specifics are as follows:

  • 12 Months: Aircraft frame, ESC, RTK, motors, smart controller, charger, radar, etc.
  • 3 Months: Flow meter, impeller pump, sprinkler, servo, solenoid vent valve, etc.
  • 15 Days: Propellers, spread tank, cables, hose, structural module, etc.
  • Battery: 12 months or 1,000 cycles (whichever comes first).
What is Not Covered

Not all crashes are considered a result of hardware malfunction. The following scenarios are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Crashes caused by the drone ascending or descending into an obstacle, including:
    • Initiating a mission from the top of an obstacle.
    • Colliding with an overhead object during an automated return-to-home ascent.
    • Navigating upward into overhanging objects (e.g., tree branches or wires).
    • Attempting to clear one obstacle while inadvertently impacting another, such as routing upward to bypass trees and hitting a parallel power line.
  • Collisions involving any and all types of wires, power lines, etc. are not recognized by the obstacle avoidance system and are not covered under warranty.
  • Collisions with non-wire objects with a diameter smaller than 1-inch are not covered under warranty.
  • Any impact while obstacle avoidance is disabled is excluded from warranty.
  • Multiple drone collisions, such as aircraft-to-aircraft impacts during fleet operations, are not covered.
  • Accidents occurring during manual flight mode, unless conclusively caused by a verified component failure, are not eligible for coverage.
  • Any crash outside the 12-month warranty period from the drone’s receiving date is not covered.
  • If the customer fails to submit adequate documentation of the incident (including flight logs, images, and videos), the claim will be declined.
  • Collisions resulting from terrain-following misjudgments that lead to overhead impacts are excluded from warranty.
  • Accidents due to a physical component failure (e.g., motor, arm, propeller) may be covered, provided:
    • The drone was properly maintained and regularly serviced.
    • Pre-flight inspections were conducted.
    • Critical components were kept clean and free of debris.
    • Only approved OEM parts were used.
    • Sufficient documentation proving the failure was submitted.
