Description

DJI Phantom 4 Multispectral

  • Up to 27 Minutes of Flight Time

  • Enterprise Shield Basic Protection Plan

  • RGB and NDVI

  • 1 Year DJI Terra Software (Basic) License

DJI Phantom 4 Multispectral provides high-resolution NDVI and RGB imaging.  With the help of NDVI Imaging, you can find hot spots that need attention, and instead of surveying your field by walking, you could simply create a mission on the map on your iPad, confirm the mission, and the DJI Phantom 4 Multispectral will fly autonomously, takes pictures and comes back to you with pictures of your field.  The next step will be uploading the pictures to the DJI Terra software and creating a colorful NDVI map. With that being said, you can see a live NDVI view of your field when the drone is flying.

RGB and NDVI Comparison:

The Phantom 4 Multispectral provides both NDVI and RGB imaging to you. As you can see in the picture below the red is the color of vegetation that is in good and healthy condition. Yellow or green colors on the other hand mean that there is an issue in that area. This issue could be pests, irrigation systems or it could be the part of the field that the tractor tires destroyed the plants. With the help of RGB imaging and NDVI imaging, you can quickly decide which spots must be visited and address the issue in a timely manner.

See Beneath the Surface

Agriculture imagery collection is now simpler and more efficient than ever before with a built-in stabilized imaging system that collects comprehensive data sets right out of the box. Access information is collected by 1 RGB camera and a multispectral camera array with five cameras covering Blue, Red, Green, Red Edge, and Near-Infrared bands.

Sunlight Sensor for Accurate Results

The light sensors allow you to take your images at any time of the day and still be able to compare the NDVI results with other NDVI maps that you created in the past. If it is too sunny or cloudy, the sensor light adjusts the colors of the NDVI imaging.

Centimeter-level Precision

Get real-time, accurate positioning data on images captured by all six cameras with DJI’s TimeSync system, providing centimeter-level accurate measurements. The TimeSync system continually aligns the flight controller, RGB and NB cameras, and RTK module, fixing the positioning data to the center of the CMOS and ensuring each photo uses the most accurate metadata. All cameras go through a rigorous calibration process where radial and tangential lens distortions are measured. The distortion parameters gathered are saved into each image’s metadata, letting post-processing software adjust uniquely for every user.

D-RTK 2 Mobile Station and NTRIP Compatibility

Enhance the accuracy of RTK positioning without an internet connection by connecting the P4 Multispectral to the D-RTK 2 High Precision GNSS Mobile Station and NTRIP (Network Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol), or store the satellite observation data to be used for Post Processed Kinematics (PPK).

FAQS

Does Phantom 4 Multispectral have RTK capability?
